Privacy Policy
HurryUp: Stock & Cart Timer (the “App”) is operated by Developer Ravi. This policy explains how the App handles information when a Shopify merchant installs or uses it.
Information we process
- The merchant's permanent Shopify shop domain and Shopify installation session data required to authenticate the App.
- Widget configuration selected by the merchant, such as thresholds, timer duration, text, colors, font, and expiration behavior.
- Subscription status and Shopify billing identifiers used to enforce the selected plan.
- Webhook identifiers used to prevent duplicate processing.
The App does not retain customer names, addresses, email addresses, payment details, order line items, or other customer-level order content. The App does not request order or customer API access or subscribe to order-created events. Mandatory Shopify privacy requests are authenticated and acknowledged without retaining their customer-data payloads.
How information is used
We use this information to provide the merchant dashboard and storefront widgets, synchronize settings to Shopify app-owned metafields, enforce plan entitlements, prevent duplicate webhook processing, maintain security, and provide support. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Storage, sharing, and retention
Information is stored in access-controlled production infrastructure and is shared only with Shopify and service providers necessary to host and operate the App. Data is retained while the App is installed. Store settings, subscription records, sessions, and webhook receipts are deleted when an app-uninstalled or shop-redact request is processed, subject to legal obligations and short-lived infrastructure backups.
Merchant and customer requests
Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks are supported. Because the App does not retain customer-level data, customer data access and erasure requests ordinarily return no customer records to identify or delete. Merchants may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.
Security and international processing
We use HTTPS, Shopify authentication, signed webhook verification, least-privilege access scopes, and access-controlled database credentials. Information may be processed outside the merchant's country where our infrastructure providers operate, with protections required by applicable law.
